Khmer Jadeed 1

Khmer means ‘Cambodia,’ and Jadeed means ‘New’. Yes, this is a wild Cambodian oil hydro-distilled in a new-gen style, non-soaked, using a hybrid setup. I left no stone unturned to find such masterpieces among hundreds of fake or low-quality Cambodian woods/oils available in the market today. Even though I’ve been in this field for years, it took me quite a bit of time to offer the right quality Cambodian oil.

Let’s get straight to the profile. Distilled from rich and oily Crassna species of agarwood, it starts off with dark ripe berries, bitter honey, warm resins, and tobacco with no barn or funk notes. The middle phase of the oil diffuses the sweetness of tropical fruits, making it incredibly seductive, and you’ll find yourself reaching for your nose constantly. It’s really soothing and comforting and takes your mind to a different dimension. The notes in the drydown are amazing; they release a spicy, almost anise-like tone together with flowery and sweet, woodsy notes that are typical of premium Cambodian oud.

I’m pleased to introduce Khmer Jadeed 1 as part of the anniversary release. My custom distilled batches are limited because high-grade material is harder to come by. Anyone would be pleased to add this excellent Cambodian oil to their collection.
