Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand

Bringing you all, for the first time ever, a mélange of different Crassna species oils. Yes, this is not a single region; it is a rare co-treat of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, all famous and holding the crown for producing the Aquilaria crassna species. The project was one of a kind and involved the collection of the best available material, selecting the right equipment, and using the best technique.

Without further delay, let’s discuss what Crassna Maliki got.

The opening is bright, almost effervescent. A silky floral top greets you with white petals, orchid dew, and powdered pollen. There’s a trace of tart tropical fruit, like green mango peel, paired with a clean wood vapor; think of dry, sun-warmed agarwood chips right before burning. The Cambodian influence begins to unfold: A mellow ambery warmth, honeyed resin, and hints of incense wood, which is smooth and meditative but not heavy. The Thai element lifts it with a cool green thread like crushed bamboo leaves and dry hay, adding a subtle contrast to the warm base. There’s also a fleeting, incense-like creaminess, almost like benzoin and sandalwood fused into the oud’s resin core. Settles into a transparent, radiant woodiness. Sweetened earth, rainforest humidity, and the faint scent of old paper emerge gently. There’s no barn or smoke, just a clean, elegant trail of crassna’s finest qualities: gentle sweetness, medicinal bitterness, inner warmth, and refined structure, which is also reminiscent of the top-tier Vietnamese drydown.
