Imperial Koh
A unique, high-quality Koh Kong oud, with a refreshing and complex blend of green, spicy, and sweet notes, distilled using pure Tatai waterfall water.
Description
This is AHO’s first-ever high-grade artisanal quality oil offering from this region, and I bet it’ll be quite a unique experience compared to all the Koh Kong oils you’ve tried so far.
The difference comes from the water that has been used to distill it. The water from the Tatai waterfall is very clean and comes from the mountain that hardly had any human settlement. ‘Clean’ soaking and low-temperature hydrodistillation are other key aspects for the overall outcome of this Crassna species.
The notes open gently with lovely green and gold tones. The oil begins to come alive with good power and sillage as it warms on the skin. The appearance of dried plums and figs is accompanied by bitter, spicy edges reminiscent of tobacco and betel nut. The spiciness perfectly balances the subtle candied sweetness. Notes of cherry and cranberry soon join in. There is no pungency whatsoever. However, you can feel bittersweetness in the background and creamy resinous sweetness in the drydown, which is very addictive and reminiscent of high-quality wood.
All, let me introduce you to Imperial Koh!
