Firdous Royale

We are finally here in one of the blessed months of the year (Dhul Hajj), a month where many are undergoing a mandatory pilgrimage to Mecca. A journey of a lifetime and a step closer to our creator, Allah SWT. Like I promised, here we are finally with the release of the most anticipated oil.

You’ve been following the journey with me of how we meticulously crafted this oil from premium shavings and high-incense chips. The journey began with cold-soaking of this material over a period of 1 month that will assist with the deep resinous and woody notes to emerge.

The setup at AHO is quite distinct: an SS pot (food grade) with a custom-made glass Clevenger and a condenser with minimum steam passage. This allowed me to capture the delicate top notes, drawing out the rich and complex heart of the oud. The process continued for a couple of weeks at varied temperatures until I was satisfied with the outcome.

Smell:
The opening is quite distinct from Firdous 1; rather, it has a smooth, elegant profile—where deep, earthy Sri Lankan oud character is elevated by layers of soft spice, subtle smokiness, and resinous sweetness. Ideal for collectors and enthusiasts, it represents the pinnacle of artisanal oud distillation—a timeless fragrance that speaks of heritage, craftsmanship, and olfactory sophistication.
