I offered this oil as a blind test to a few people to identify the region; the only hint given was the use of 2 distinct regional materials, and only a few were able to identify at least one region.
Without further delay, let me introduce this unique distillation called Oud Qaysar, a co-distillation of the Sumatran and Hindi regions.
The opening is bold—ripe, sour fruits with a touch of spice. As it unfolds, a candy-like sweetness emerges, laced with green and purple tones—suggestive of crushed herbs and dark berries. Deeper in, the profile remains airy yet grounded, with woody undertones and a rising veil of incense-like nuance—soft, meditative, and resinous. Very complex yet smooth oil.
A very limited quantity is available, as some of it was already sold privately to connoisseurs.
